Paris instagram guide: Where to shop? ...

Shall we start our shopping tour? ;)
Just around the corner from our hotel, gorgeous Westin Vendome Paris (I will tell you more about it soon) we found cute Pierre Herme store. Probably the best macarons ever, so we decided to have our snack time here, get some energy and continue to our next goal.
  4 rue Cambon 75001 Paris

After a short taxi ride (oops, it was cold), we arrived at well known Galeries Lafayette. Magnificent place will leave you speechless but trust me, a lots of tourists will quickly make you to change your mind. Despite that fact, we gave our best to enjoy in great brands, clothes, bags, jewelry, shoes and of course super cute books. You should not miss the view from the roof terrace and snap couple of photos! ;)
40, boulevard Haussmann, 75009 Paris
p.s. you will find separated buildings for Femme, Homme and Maison!

A few steps away, you will find Printemps, a department store which is more modern and sophisticated with better picks for every brand. Under that gorgeous cupola at the top floor, the Brasserie Printemps is hiding a perfect place for a short break before you continue torturing yourself with all that beautiful clothes! ;) At the lowest level, you can find also a cute place Cojean, where you can refresh yourself with their healthy food and snacks!
64, bd Haussmann, 75009 Paris - France

When you are in Paris, you gotta visit that famous Avenue des Champs-Élysées, act a little bit crazy and sit at Laduree for brunch! Buy something which is photogenic instead of being yummy and continue the tour! ;) Despite I really liked this beautiful Avenue, it was more than crowded with tons of tourists at one place, so I can't recommend it  for a peaceful shopping. Anyway, it is worth seeing!

AVENUE des CHAMPS-ÉLYSÉES, 75008 Paris

Next stop on our tour is also well known - The Boulevard Saint-Germain. Gorgeous street with even better architecture, and beloved French doors. With big names in fashion you can stay and shop forever. Quick break is destined to be at Café de Flore. One street nearer to the Seine and you will find yourself at my personal favorites: Rue Jacob and Rue de Seine with great small shops, bookstores, open markets and many more. Don't miss it!

Boulevard Saint Germain , 75006 Paris

And if you are huge fan of flowers and cute markets, I have also a perfect place for you.

Rue de Bretagne, 75003 Paris
p.s. don't worry, quick break is only a few steps away at Cafe Charlot! ;)

Finally, it is time to end up this tour in the neighborhood of our hotel, so here are the addresses:

1 Place Vendôme, 75001 Paris
Rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris
Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris
and we are done!

p.s. in the next post, you will see what was in those plastic bags! ;)
p.p.s. all the photos are made with Samsung galaxy camera and Samsung galaxy note 2, filtered through the instagram and after that resized for the blog!

Paris instagram guide: What to wear? ...

                                                                                             ph. Jelena and me

Well, after this short pause, my impressions about Paris are still strong, and it will last probably 'till my next visit. With too many photos on my gadgets cards, I couldn't decide easily which one to upload first and what type of post to prepare. And I ended up with so called 'what to do' questions, where I will give you my vision of Paris.
The first post 'What to wear' was piece of cake to bake. We didn't have many choices because of the cold weather! So, if you are planing your trip during the winter I have only one advice: no one cares what are you wearing, as long as you feel warm and comfortable! ;)
At the beginning of our trip, we were pretty much enthusiastic with our clothes and outfits but on our first day (it was snowing when we arrived) we quickly changed our mind! Woolen scarf, two or three pairs of socks, coats, winter parkas etc. And we would stick to this mantra, but:
- this was our first time,
- first visit to the magnificent Paris,
- first big fashion week ever,
- we watched Carrie in Paris for several times, so we loosen up a little bit! By night we get involved with high heels, bare legs, full skirts for after parties and bars, and you need to give as a credit for that! ;)
Big advice: you can really wear whatever you want and like, but for better feeling, you gotta soak up some Parisian chic, cause their style comes naturally and you will beg to blend in.
Preferred style:
- chic (cropped pants, bare legs, ballet flats, high heels, blazer and coats on shoulders, simple details, messy hair) or
- lady like ( full skirts, dresses, small bags, fitted clothes, perfect hair, cat eye sunglasses ... ). It depends on you!
Bottom line: enjoy!

Well guys, I owe you an explanation for not posting anything last two weeks. After my trip to Paris I start working a full time job, and that's the main reason for not updating this little place lately. But I promise you, I will try to organize better and give my best to provide at least two or three posts per week. Probably I will look like vampire even more, but who cares! ;)
Today I wanted share with you one look made in a hallway of my building several weeks ago. Total black outfit with pop of blue and navy. Hope you will like it!

p.s. soon as I arrange all the photos from Paris, I will start posting my impressions about this incredible city! Till then, you can check Jelena's posts and read our guide!

Okay, I have so many things to show and share with you cause the week behind me was hella good crazy and unbelievable!
If you are already following me on my Instagram profile (@vanjaam) you probably saw that I were in Paris with my girl Jelena Karakas (@jelenakarakas)! Secret project that we were doing on for a whole month can finally be revealed on blog!
We teamed up with Samsung to attend the fashion week in Paris, give you hints for a good spots over there and show you what to do if you want to visit this gorgeous city! Because of that we created our own travel hashtag #samsungstyleguide where you can find all the photos that we published till now. On our way we meet incredible, inspiring people, visited great places, ate the most delicious pastries, attended the best parties and of course went shopping! ;)
So there will be no typical outfit posts but you will still be able to see what we were doing this week!

And there is also one important thing for Serbian readers:
on Samsung Facebook page (here) you can participate in Samsung application  and create collages from our photos and win a trip to Paris for two and Galaxy camera! How great is that?! After we get our finalists Jelena and I will decide with Samsung creative team who will be the winner! And now do not hesitate, join us and start making your own collage! Good luck to all of you!

Now I'm off to unpack my bags and take a nap! ;)
